Call for participants in National Redress Scheme research project

Recommendation 7.1 of the second year review of the National Redress Scheme called for improved communication to increase awareness of, and build trust in, the National Redress Scheme among survivors, and better communicate the availability of support services.

In response to the recommendation, the Department has engaged ‘Whereto Research’ to undertake communication research. There are two different ways people can take part in the research:

  • People affected by institutional child sexual abuse are invited to register their interest in taking part in qualitative research to co-design a communication program for the National Redress Scheme. Find out more and/or register here

  • An online survey, that can be completed by anyone who would like to take part. It does not ask anyone to disclose any personal experiences and will take about 15 minutes to complete. Find out more here
