Have your say on the future of aged care
COTA (Council on the Ageing) and OPAN (the Older Person’s Advocacy Network) are holding consultations in August and September 2023 to provide a platform for older people, families and carers to share their knowledge and insights in relation to two upcoming Aged Care reforms:
- the new Aged Care Act and the rights and other foundational aspects it contains, and
- funding principles for a sustainable aged care system.
As human rights-based organisations, COTA and OPAN want to ensure a diverse range of perspectives are heard – across all age groups. We will reflect these perspectives in our submissions to the Australian Government.
